WEBIRE makes available fellowships and scholarships to allow professional journalists, students and educators the opportunity to attend training events they might not otherwise be able to afford. Fellowships and scholarships typically include a one-year IRE membership and conference/seminar registration fees. Some cover travel costs.

WEBIRE’s annual investigative journalism conference will take place in Denver, Colorado, and virtually June 23-26, 2022. The conference will feature panels and discussions as well as opportunities to network with fellow journalists. Those who attend the conference virtually will have access to some conference sessions, live-streamed and recorded.
