Many gamers haven't warmed up to the idea of a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster, but that should change now that the details have been revealed.

Fans are comparing Aloy's appearance in the recently announced Horizon Zero Dawn PlayStation 5 remaster to her original look on the PS4.

According to van Beek, Aloy's model was brought over from Forbidden West, and lighting, skin tones and hair shaders have been reworked to match Zero Dawn's atmosphere. The dev also points out that the PS4 image shown below has motion blur turned off, resulting in the slight blurring present.

As of writing, the listing is still up, and it suggests that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered - something that's previously been rumoured to be coming - will be arriving on PS5 and PC at some point before the end of time, or to put that last bit in less cheeky terms, there's no release date specified.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be the latest first-party title to get a fresh makeover for PlayStation 5 and PC, and it’ll be released October 31. There haven’t been a ton of changes here, although it’s gotten a big visual upgrade.
