NORFOLK, Va. — Breeze Airways announced Thursday that it is adding nonstop flights from Norfolk to Phoenix. The airline said the new nonstop flight is seasonal and available on Thursdays and Sundays, beginning Friday. Fares will start at $101.

Breeze will operate the new Florida routes with Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The airline expects to have 32 A220-300 aircraft in its fleet by the end of 2024 and 90 by the end 2028. It will operate only A220-300s on scheduled service flights by next year.

On Thursday, Breeze Airways announced a new service going from Norfolk to Phoenix, Arizona. According to a release, the new nonstop service which launched on Oct. 3 has fares starting at just $101 one-way.

Breeze Airways is bolstering its service in Florida this winter. The Utah-based low-cost carrier, which commenced service in 2021, unveiled its latest expansion Tuesday, with four new routes to the Sunshine State.
