A murder suspect, Carwon Redding, escaped from Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, prompting a city-wide manhunt.

Atlanta police said a murder suspect is on the run after escaping from Grady Memorial Hospital.Police said Carwon Marqavious Redding, 32, escaped from the hospital around 2 p.m. on Friday. Redding had been arrested Thursday in connection with a deadly shooting on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in April.
