The Duchess of Edinburgh will read a children's book on an upcoming episode of 'CBeebies Bedtime Stories' two years after Princess Kate did the same

Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, has been handed a new patronage days after publicly reuniting with King Charles and Queen Camilla at a royal engagement. The royal is now a patron of the Girlguiding organisation in the UK.

A Metropolitan Police officer has been charged over the death of an 81-year-old woman who was killed in a collision with a motorcycle that was part of an escort for the Duchess of Edinburgh.

Following the crash, Ms Holland's son Martin told the BBC she died after sustaining 'multiple broken bones and massive internal injuries.'

Great grandmother Helen Holland, 81, suffered serious injuries in the collision in Earl's Court and died in hospital two weeks later.
