Channel 4 has released a first look at Harriet Walter as Margaret Thatcher in its James Graham drama ‘Brian and Margaret.’

Dame Harriet Walter embodies Margaret Thatcher for new Channel 4 drama - Steve Coogan plays journalist Brian Walden in the two-part series about his 1989 interview with the then-prime minister.

The drama, written by Sherwood boss James Graham, sees Walter play former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher alongside Steve Coogan 's Brian Walden – the late Labour MP-turned-notorious political interviewer. First-look images show Walter transformed as Thatcher, decked out in her signature skirt suit and trademark hairstyle.
