Actor Nagarjuna has condemned Telangana minister Konda Surekha's comments linking KTR to the divorce of actors Samantha and Naga Chaitanya. He has urged her to withdraw her comments.

Nagarjuna Akkineni condemned Surekha's remarks, saying that she should not use the lives of movie stars to criticise her opponents.

Popular Tollywood actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has condemned the comments made by Telangana's Forests and Environment Minister Konda Surekha about the separation of his actor son Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

At a press meet Konda Surekha said, “Not just Samantha, but several actors married early because of KTR and left the industry. KTR is a drug addict who did rave parties. He played with actors’ feelings and then blackmailed them. KTR is the main reason for Samantha-Naga Chaitanya’s divorce.”

“KTR asked to send Samantha in return for not demolishing the N-convention center. Nagarjuna forced Samantha to go to KTR. Samantha said no. That led to divorce," said Konda Surekha.

Nagarjuna asked the minister not to use the lives of movie stars who stay away from politics to criticise her opponents.
