NATO members should not be deterred from giving more military aid to Ukraine by Vladimir Putin's "reckless Russian nuclear rhetoric", outgoing NATO boss Jens Stoltenberg told Reuters in an interview on Monday.

Jens Stoltenberg, who is about to step down as NATO Secretary General, has urged Alliance members not to be dissuaded from providing further military assistance to Ukraine because of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin's "reckless Russian nuclear rhetoric".

NATO members have provided diplomatic and military aid support to Ukraine throughout the ongoing war after Russia invaded the nation in February 2022.

The Kremlin has stated that its new nuclear doctrine is drafted and ready to be officially adopted in what is being called a new "red line."
