Aurora police arrested a hit-and-run suspect driver wanted for allegedly crashing into a school bus and causing another crash on Wednesday afternoon.

The district said the students were being transported between Clear Creek ISD and Alvin ISD as part of a deaf and hard of hearing program. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

A crash between a pickup truck and a school bus sent 18 students to the hospital Tuesday morning in Sioux County Iowa. According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a crash at the intersection of 430th Street and Marsh Avenue,

According to the news report, 6-year-old Cianni Allen was found wandering alone in the pumpkin patch at Tuttle Orchards in Greenfield, Indiana, after she was left behind during a school trip for two hours. Allen’s classmates and teachers reportedly boarded a bus and traveled 26 miles back to school without her.

All 15 passengers on the bus were students at Azalea Middle. Five children were taken to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital with minor injuries, police said. The driver of the Jeep SUV was also taken to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. The investigation is still ongoing, police said.

School officials said there were 21 students and a driver on board at the time. Two students and the driver were taken to the hospital.
