TROPICS: Tropical Depression 14 forms in Gulf; Could become major hurricane
The season’s 14th tropical depression formed Saturday morning in the Gulf of Mexico as it moves east toward Florida.

Once again we are watching for tropical development in the Gulf of Mexico by next week. All eyes on another disturbance taking shape in the SW Gulf and there is some potential for this system to develop into a Tropical Cyclone next week and make a move towards Florida.

As of 11 a.m., the National Hurricane Center is now issuing advisories on Tropical Depression 14. This formed out of the “high” interest area in the Gulf of Mexico and unfortunately, another U.S. landfall is expected.
