Asda is expanding its partnership with Too Good To Go, the world's largest surplus food marketplace app, to nearly 1,000 sites across the UK. The initiative, rolling out now, aims to reduce food waste by offering customers discounted Surprise Bags filled with surplus but still edible food items.

The supermarket chain has announced that it will be launching the Too Good to Go scheme across its superstore and Asda Express sites

The bags can include everyday staples such as fruits, salads, chilled items, meat, dairy products and even bakery goods that are nearing their use-by date
