Hugh Grant has reignited his ongoing “feud” with his Bridget Jones’s Diary co-star Colin Firth. The pair starred alongside each other in the 2001 adaptation of Helen Fielding’s novel and will reprise their characters for the forthcoming fourth instalment of the franchise.

Grant portrays Daniel Cleaver, one of Zellweger's character's love interests throughout the Bridget Jones franchise. He costarred in the 2001 original and 2004 sequel The Edge of Reason, but Daniel is presumed dead throughout 2016's Bridget Jones's Baby after a plane crash.
