Six Flags Magic Mountain will extend its lead as the Roller Coaster Capital of the World when the Valencia amusement park adds a 21st coaster to its record-setting lineup while continuing to fend off challenges by rivals edging ever closer to the title.

The corporation owns 42 parks and did not reveal much about the Six Flags Magic Mountain roller coaster, other than it is a first-of-its-kind coaster in North America. Investments at all of its parks will fund new rides, attractions, themed areas, dining upgrades, and technology enhancements, the corporation said.

Six Flags Magic Mountain will add to its expansive roller coaster line-up with the debut of a new “first of its kind” coaster in 2026. Magic Mountain currently has 20 roller coasters, more than any other theme park worldwide.
