Valencia and Levante have requested the postponement of their Spanish league matches this weekend following the devastating recent floods in the region, both clubs announced on Tuesday.

Valencia have asked for their visit to Espanyol in La Liga on Saturday to be postponed as the city continues to deal with the aftermath of the devastating floods that hit eastern Spain last week. Valencia's Copa del Rey meeting with Parla Escuela and La Liga game against Real Madrid were both postponed last week after flooding in the Valencia region caused at least 217 deaths.
