Formula 1 will have a full-time Brazilian driver for the first time since 2017 after Sauber announced F2 leader Gabriel Bortoleto will join the team.

Brazilian driver Gabriel Bortoleto has reportedly been chosen as second driver for the Sauber Formula One team which will become an Audi works team from 2026.
