The taxpayer-funded office will investigate cases where religious freedom is trampled on while the state implements biblical study into the curriculum.

Oklahoma state superintendent Ryan Walters announces a new agency aimed at promoting religious liberty and patriotism. Walters says the Office of Religious Liberty and patriotism at the State Department of Education will offer support to teachers and students.

In the video, the superintendent says religious liberty has been attacked and patriotism mocked “by woke teachers unions,” then prays for the leaders of the U.S. after saying students do not have to join in the prayer.
