Israel has hit targets across Lebanon and killed 1,030 people over the past week according to the country's Health Ministry, as Lebanese-based militant group Hezbollah sustained heavy blows to its command structure including the killing of its leader, Hassan Nasrallah.

Hezbollah senior commander Ali Karaki, who was targeted in Monday’s strike on Beirut, survived the attack, Hezbollah officials said. Two senior Israeli sources confirmed to ABC News that Karaki had been the target of the strike. At least six people were injured Monday in an Israeli strike on southern Beirut, according to Lebanese state media.
