On Monday’s episode of The Tony Kornheiser Show Ryan McGee of ESPN called in to speak with the host regarding that contest, and at the end of his summation he had this to say about Saturday night’s epic tilt between two teams we all expect to see meet again this year.

"I don't think confidence was ever an issue as far as him gaining that," Alabama offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan said. "I think he's a confident player, and I think that comes from his work ethic and his preparation and how hard he practices each and every day. And I thought he played well in the game."

After an all-time classic in Tuscaloosa and a statement win over Georgia, Jalen Milroe and Ryan Williams were given an SEC weekly award. Milroe was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week after accounting for a career-best 491 total yards.
