Delhi air pollution: AQI zooms to over 400, over 14 areas record ‘severe’ air quality
Delhi's air pollution woes continue to get worse with each day, as over 14 areas in the national capital recorded an AQI of over 400 on Sunday. Most of these areas that had ‘very poor’ air quality last week, have now fallen to the ‘severe’ zone, CPCB data showed.

The worsened air quality led to the city being shrouded in a layer of smog affecting visibility and leading to delays and cancellation of flights at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. At 7:30 am, the the visibility dropped to 800 metres at IGI Airport leading to 107 flights being delayed and 3 cancelled, reported India Today.
