Through this evening, some of the heavier showers and thunderstorms could bring some of us up to an additional inch of rainfall. While this moisture is helpful to break our drought, it could also cause some standing water around storm drains that are clogged with new fallen leaves.

In addition to the severe weather, heavy amounts of rainfall will be expected. Some areas have already gotten a few inches of rainfall and an additional inch or two of rain could lead to flooding concerns.
