Organic whole and baby carrots have been recalled nationwide due to an E. coli outbreak that has killed at least one person, the FDA said.

Whole and baby carrots, many sold under the store brands of the nation’s largest grocery sellers, have been recalled because they might be involved in an E. coli outbreak that already has killed one person.

An E. coli outbreak linked to recalled carrots has led to dozens of illnesses in 18 states and one death, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
